Description

For years people around the world have loved and performed music from what has come to be called The Great American Songbook. In this album, the BYU Young Ambassadors explore some of the great music from the decades just after that revered golden age—hence the title The New American Songbook. Their hope is that as people listen to this music it will trigger happy memories from their own lives.

An exciting change for the BYU Young Ambassadors during this show's run was the presence of a live 10-piece band on stage. Audiences loved this new musical dimension, and every effort was made in this recording to capture the energy of the BYU Young Ambassador cast and band, just as you would hear them live.
